To further enhance ventilation within the roof structure, over-fascia vents were installed as part of the upgrade. The team also fitted a maintenance-free GRP dry valley system along with new leadwork at the base of the valley to ensure rainwater was directed efficiently into the guttering system.

One of the key aspects of this project involved carrying out bespoke leak repair work around the property’s glass conservatory, where the main roof connected with the conservatory box gutter. The homeowner had been experiencing water entering the cavity area for approximately five years due to issues in this vulnerable section of the roof. Our team carefully redesigned and sealed the area to permanently resolve the problem and prevent future water ingress.

To complete the refurbishment, the roof verges were re-finished using a traditional cement finish and the ridge tiles were reworked to provide a secure, weatherproof, and visually consistent finish across the roofline.
